Summer in Spain

We have just got back from our holidays in Pineda, Spain. It’s a little fishing village, just near Barcelona and it was beautiful! We stayed at the Golden Taurus Park @ Pineda, a Thomson, super Family hotel. It comes highly recommended, I would definitely go back!***** The whole holiday cost £250 each, which included half board in the hotel. The reason it was so money saving, was that I booked cheap flights with Ryanair and then booked all the transfers,, insurance and hotel separately. Some of the people in our hotel on same package had paid £500 + each with Thomsons  and they were also given night flights!!!

Here are some of my favourites bits:)

  Heaven!!!

The beach at Pineda, on the hotel front. We had to sit the shade most of the day, as temperatures got up to 40 degrees. My hubby even got burned under the brolley on the beach! He is now peeling and leaving gross bits of skin all over the house!!

My son jumping into the pool, his favourite pass time

 Marineland, the water park

The food at the hotel was fab, especially the cakes:

Tito, the seal lion

Our 13th wedding anniversary @ the Bodega in  the square in Calella.! We ate, Catalanian garlic bread with smoked ham for starters and mixed  barbecued Catalanian sausage, chicken, chops, black pudding and rabbit!!

relaxing playing rummy

Our last night, The Four Tops, tribute band at Hotel!

Waiting @ Girona Airport, yesterday to fly home!!!

We really enjoyed our hols, but today it’s back to reality and the washing :(
