Monday Night Comfort food!- Nursery fish pie!

Good Afternoon or is it Evening yet??

I have been back at work today, urghhh!!! Anyway in a bid to console myself, I have decided that I need comfort food tonight, I have been making Nigella’s Nursery Fish pie, that I have adapted a bit :)

I baked the pollock fish fillets in the oven with a little olive oil, then I made a creamy cheese sauce, (using bero cheese pouring recipe

be-ro.com),then  added the fish and two boiled eggs and then put into my denby casserole dish.

I then topped with home made mash and grated cheese. It then goes in to the oven on 180 o for about 20 mins. yum!!!

Finally, serve with any seasonal veg! Mine is slightly different to Nigella’s as I don’t add peas, don’t really like them that much and it’s fine without them, IMO :) This time I have only used pollock, last time I used some some smoked

haddock along with the Pollock, it does make it a bit more tastier, if you have any in.

My comfort food, ahh!! Ok, now I am off to walk the hound and then its a long soak in a bubble bath, before relaxing by watching the soaps and having a glass of vino! cheers!

Recipe taken from Nigella’s Feast book and bero book for pouring cheese sauce!
