the pink bubble technique
Last week after reading the article in the times online, about the top ten most inspiring reads, I bought ‘Creative Visualization’ by Shakti Gawain. Well, what a fantastic book! It’s packed full of techniques you can utilise, bascially it shows us how to visualise a change that you would like to happen in your life, then goes through step by step how to achieve it!!
My favourite technique, so far is called ‘the pink bubble technique’ taken from Gawain’s book page 98
” Sit lie down comfortably, close your eyes and breathe deeply, slowly and naturally. Gradually relax deeper and deeper.
Imagine something that you would really like to happen. Imagine that it has already happened.
Picture it as clearly as possible in your mind.
Now in your minds eye, surround your fantasy with a pink bubble; put your goal inside your bubble. Pink is the colour associated with the heart and if this colour vibration, surrounds whatever you visualise, it will bring to you what is perfect affinity with your being.
The third step is to let go of your bubble and imagine it floating of into the universe, still containing your vision. This symbolises that emotionally you are ‘letting go’ of it. Now it is free to float around in the universe, attracting and gathering energy for its manifestation!!
This really does work, last week after I quit work, I tried this, I visualised going back to my old job and magically its has worked!!
I will be using the pink bubble again!

About me:
welcome to my penny pinching pantry :)
This is my favourite selection of frugal, old fashioned recipes. please feel free to comment and add to them. I am a huge Nigella Lawson fan and there are loads of her recipes featured here, mostly they are from her latest series, Nigella Express.
I live and work in North Yorkshire. I am married and have two boys, (11 & 23) and a fab black labrador, who is the total baby of the family!

Congrats on quitting. I have a problem with my job — I hate it. I’ve survived there for one whole year, which is unbelievable. Everyone who came in with me has left. Kinda depressing, although I know that my turn will come in time. I’m going to have to use this pink bubble technique.
In the meantime, I’ve tagged you for a meme on my blog if you feel like playing.
