Books that have changed women’s lives!

 books.jpg

I have just been reading a very interesting article on the times on-line website about books that have impacted on women’s lives.

Have a quick look   women.timesonline.co, the creative visualisation book looks great. I have tried visualisation in the past and it does really work, but I love to read more about how to practice it.

Menu plan w/c 3/2/08- jobs to do and declutter list!!

 menu.jpg

I start my new job this tomorrow, so very excited. I will be starting on three days,( Mon, Tues, wed) and after working 5 days a week for the past year, this sounds good to me! I have not had much time to sort stuff out at home and I now have a big ‘to do list’. These are some of the jobs I will be tackling on my days off, from next week

1. get quote from a decorator to emulsion downstairs rooms.

2. do charity bags for clothes in our wardrobes that we no longer need

3. file and shred a hug pile of letters and bills!

4. begin to sort out loft, make up Charity bags for old books, toys etc.

5. get quote from someone to lay new or existing pavements on front drive.

6. Look for new flooring for bathroom ( old floor raised and cracked after a leak!)

7. buy new fire grate and fire guard

8. bake from scratch as much as possible- make own cakes, pasta and bread on days off

This is going to take some organising, but hopefully I will of compelted all jobs  April! ( well. we can dream can’t we??)

In the meantine, I have just completed this weeks menu plan:

Wednesday: ham and egg salad with new potatoes ( work day)
