Rock with Nigella’s Roquemole!! Guitar Hero II

gh.jpg

Hubby just bought himself Guitar Heros  II for the x box 360, arghhhhh!!!   I suppose it will keep them amused??  Actually, I have had just had a quick go and it’s brillant , but highly addictive!!!!

With all this rocking going on, the boys need some food for supper tonight to rock to……

So Nigella’s Roquemole will hit the spot, me thinks :0  I have all the ingredients in my pantry, but one, the blue tortilla’s never heard of them before, will use carrots, radishes, snap peas and melba toast instead.    Does anyone know where you buy those blue chips from???

1 cup crumbled Roquefort or Saint Agur blue cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup sliced pickled green jalapeños from a jar
2 tablespoons finely sliced scallions (spring oniuns)
1/4 teaspoon paprika
large bag of blue corn tortilla chips

1. Crumble or mash the blue cheese with the sour cream in a bowl.

2. Mash in the avocados. If they are ripe, a fork should be all you need.

3. Roughly chop the sliced jalapeños and stir them into the mixture along with the finely sliced scallions.

4. Arrange in the center of a plate or dish, dust with paprika, and surround with tortilla chips. Dive in.

Nigella’s Chocolate peanut butter fudge sauce! Dvd night???

 seadog.jpg

Hola  :)

We had a really long walk along our local beach this morning with our beautiful black labrador. She absolutely loves the beach.  She runs full pelt into the sea.   She plays jumping over the waves and adores it.

The tide was coming in the waves were huge, although it is November, it’s quite mild here, the sun shone as we walked along the sea line.  Aahhh!!! We are all very chilled out now.

I cooked Nigella’s sweetcorn chowder and her quasidillas. Boy were they hot, I think, I put too many jalepeanos in them!

Hubby raved on about them for about a hour after, I think he likes them, he wanted me to make them again for tea!!

On Nigella Express last week, she made this brilliant fudge sauce, gonna put it on my meun plan for next week.  Looks perfect for my dvd night, that I was planning! :)
