Winner!

It has been an eventful week in the pp household! My Son, Ross (12) took part in the Middlesbrough Athletic Schools Championship on Thursday and I am pleased to say that he came 1st in the 100 metres race. He has only been running for 3 weeks and hasn’t done any training or anything! His time was 13.9 seconds, so he is really chuffed!
We bought him some running trainners, £6 brand new from ebay, (a real bargain, these puma ones were still in the box priced £70)
The other event is that my bathroom is nearly finally finished!!!

my snoopy’s have pride of place:

It is so relaxing:

weekend bliss

Good Afternoon,
Happy Fathers day to all u dads out there today and also wishing everyone a glorious and happy Summer Soltice evening
My hubby has gone camping and will be visiting the Castlerigg stone circle to celebrate the Solitice, this evening. I was unable to go with him, as I suffer from Raynauds Disease consquently, me and camping just don’t get !!!
The Castlerigg Stone circle is just near Keswick in the Lakes District and is a very spirtual place to visit, the pictures don’t do it justice:

It is stunning

Home Sweet Home

Good Evening
Lately since I began working more hours, I don’t seem to have any time to relax and chill out at home.
My favourite ways to relax are to cook or /bake and also to walk my beautiful dog!
I am off tomorrow, so yes, you have guessed it, I am planning to do some baking, some home made cheese scones and some double choc muffins!
Later in the day I am going to take our dog for a brisk power walk , in an effort to blow away the cobwebs!! oooh I am really looking forward to being at home and doing some old style activities!
Will post some baking pics then!
In my garden
My new geranium plant in my hubby’s old drum kit!

Since I have taken loads and loads of photos on holiday, I have discovered some great sites that you can load your photos onto and they have different frames and settings, some of which are really cool!
I loaded this one onto image chef and I also really liked photofunia, both of which are great fun to use!

Good Evening,
I have been soooo busy working and its starting to feel like its all work and no play! I don’t want to end up like Jack —-a dull boy!! IYKWIM!
Anyway the following couple of weeks hopefully will see my reward for all my hard work recently. I have booked our holidays in Spain for the last week in May when Ross is off school and I am really looking forward to it!
I am not on my old laptop, I have bought a new netbook, it is so dinky and very portable!

I have been out dog walking this afternoon and couldn’t help taking some pics of these beautifull pink cherry blossom trees at the back of my house!

My Easter Sunday table

Easter would not be Easter without lovely sunny daffodils, there are easily my most favourite flower, they signify the beginning of Spring and Summer and always remind me of Easter and most of all my Mum
I am preparing Easter Sunday lunch, leg of lamb with all the trimmings
The whole house smells of delicous all rosemary and garlic, yum!!

It took ages to cook it but it was so worth it!

After lunch I am taking our dog out for a long Spring walk, we both will need to walk off all that dinner , hehehe!!!
